Napa Valley Criminal Justice Training Center

In-Service And Advanced Officer Training Programs

Leadership  l   Ethics   l   Community Policing

The Criminal Justice Training Center is proud to offer a complete line of in-service, instructor, and advanced courses to the law enforcement community. Class size is limited in almost all of these courses and students are encourage to sign-up early as these classes typically fill quickly.  Be aware that the fees listed below are subject to change based on registration rates established by the State of California.  Self-sponsored students who have not lived in California full time for at least two years are subject to out of state fees.  Course fliers are now available on-line for download in Adobe Acrobat format.  Simply double click on the course title to review the course flier.  A free copy of Adobe Acrobat reader is available for download at the bottom of this page.  To register for a course, please call 707-253-3255 or use the link below.

We strongly recommend that students complete the basic police academy, basic dispatch course, or be currently employed by a law enforcement agency before enrolling in these courses.   For questions about course content and rigor, please call the in-service training coordinator at 707-253-3255.

Information about the P.O.S.T. Requalification Course is listed at the bottom of this page.  For more information about P.O.S.T. regulations regarding requalification requirements and eligibility to attend this course, CLICK HERE.

Law enforcement agencies may register sponsored students on line:  REGISTER NOW.   All fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable 72 hours before the start of class   Self-sponsored students must register in person at the Criminal Justice Training Center.

ALL STUDENTS, including sponsored agency personnel, who have not taken courses at Napa Valley College within the last two years must complete an online Application For Admissions before the first day of class.  CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE.
