The basic police academy classroom is used
exclusively by basic police academy classes. This classroom features the latest in state-of-the-art computerized audio visual
equipment including a touch-screen electronic white board. A
laptop computer with access to the Internet is available at each student
seat.
Traditionally, each graduating class leaves behind a plaque to
memorialize those who graduate from the program. The Academy Star
also hangs in honor of those officers who are currently working in the
field and those who have sacrificed their lives in the course of
duty.
