|In March 2022, Napa Valley College announced a one to two year suspension of the following courses and programs due to significant financial challenges facing the college. The following courses will not be offered until further notice.
This action DOES NOT apply to or have any impact on Administration of Justice courses, degree programs, or certificate programs.
Effective July 1, 2022, the Administration of Justice Department will begin offering a select list of California P.O.S.T. certified law enforcement courses including the Basic Dispatcher Course (CJT-296). Registration for these classes is open now. Except for the Basic Dispatcher Course, course fees must be paid using a credit card. Invoicing is no longer available. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITING THE TRAINING CENTER IN PERSON
The Criminal Justice Training Center is open by appointment only. Background investigators and anyone else needing to visit the training center in person must call ahead for an appointment.

|Current COVID-19 Protocols
Effective January 1, 2022, NVC requires any student taking in-person classes or accessing in-person services in spring 2022 must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All students are required to submit proof of vaccination before attending class. For the Basic Dispatch course, proof of vaccination is handled via the normal registration process. For all other in-service law enforcement classes, students must use the special QR code or URL to submit their proof of vaccination. Click Here To Learn More.
