The Criminal Justice Training Center is always looking for volunteers to act as role players for our law enforcement training programs. Role players follow a script and act out the part of a crime victim, witness, or crime suspect. Role players are guided by academy instructors and scenario evaluators. Safety is our first priority and role players are given specific instructions on how to act and what to say.
Our volunteer role players are not paid, but do receive the opportunity to see inside real law enforcement training. It is an excellent way to gain a better understanding of the role of law enforcement and how law enforcement officers are trained.
Role players must be at least 18 years of age and submit the application below. Role players must commit to following instructions based on the scripts provided and the direction given by academy staff.
